SHIPPING OFFICER (25K X 13) - US toys buying office / trading office (TST)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supervise and monitor the daily operations of the assigned shipping sub-team.

• Allocate work and follow up with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery of goods.

• Handle the full set of import and export shipping documents.

• Prepare letter of credit and banking documents.

• Prepare invoices, packing lists and other shipment-related documents.

• Check shipping documents carefully to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Communicate proactively with internal teams regarding orders, inspections and shipment schedules.

• Provide timely shipment updates to relevant departments.

• Identify potential shipment problems and report them promptly.

• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders and other relevant parties on shipment arrangements.

• Follow up on shipment discrepancies, damaged goods, delays and other logistics issues.

• Take appropriate action to resolve shipment-related problems.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment records in the ERP system.

• Ensure all shipping information and order details are properly updated.

• Prepare regular shipping reports when required.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• At least 5 years of relevant shipping experience.

• Previous supervisory experience is required.

• Experience in the toy, seasonal, gift & premium, home decoration, sundries, home products or other consumer products.

• Experience in a buying office, trading company or multinational company is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of import and export shipping procedures.

• Experience in handling letter of credit and banking documents.

• Good communications in English and Mandarin.

• Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.

• Positive working attitude and a strong team player.
