The appointee will play a leading role in the strategic development and operation of the newly established Digital Creative Centre, driving its vision, programmes, partnerships, and community engagement initiatives.
The Centre is a pioneering initiative dedicated to digital literacy and ethics, digital creativity, innovation, and responsible technology engagement. As a multidisciplinary hub, it will bring together faculty members, students, alumni, entrepreneurs, technology innovators, creative professionals, and community partners to exchange ideas and develop impactful initiatives.
Through programmes, workshops, exhibitions, conferences, and pilot projects, the Centre will promote digital literacy, responsible AI, digital ethics, emerging technologies, creative media applications, and interdisciplinary innovation.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) leading the overall planning, co-ordination, and implementation of the Centre’s development initiatives, pilot projects, programmes, and events; (b) building and maintaining cross-unit co-ordination and liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty members, alumni, industry partners, startups, community organisations, and professional bodies; (c) monitoring project progress, timelines, deliverables and reports; (d) overseeing programme design and development, communications, marketing, outreach and public engagement; (e) providing executive and administrative support for the College’s development initiatives; (f) providing administrative support and secretariat services to the College Committees or Task Groups; and (g) providing assistance with other College projects, activities, or administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s). Irregular working hours, including weekends, evenings or holidays, may be required occasionally.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Creative Industries, Education, Information Technology, Digital Innovation, or a related discipline; (ii) fulfilled the language requirement set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 5 years’ relevant post-qualification executive experience, preferably in the innovative and creative industries, marketing, event and project management, or university administration; (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) strong project management, organisational, time management, implementation, and multitasking skills; (vi) strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills, with a strong sense of responsibility and team spirit; and (vii) strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Having relevant experience in university/college administration, partnership development, community engagement, or strategic project advancement will be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
