Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of ‘Property Management Officer’) (Ref. 2600017K) (Closing date: July 28, 2026)

The appointee will play a key role in supporting the effective management, maintenance, and development of the College’s campus facilities and infrastructure, contributing to a safe, functional, and sustainable learning and working environment. This position offers a balanced mix of facilities co-ordination, project support, and stakeholder liaison responsibilities, suitable for a proactive individual with a strong interest in campus operations and estate management.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) co-ordinating and overseeing the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of the College’s buildings, facilities, and infrastructure, including liaising with contractors and service providers; (b) assisting in procurement, tendering, and contract administration for facilities-related services and works projects; (c) supporting space management and allocation, including utilization review, relocation and renovation projects, and optimization of offices and shared facilities; (d) monitoring building services systems and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, safety standards, and institutional policies; (e) managing maintenance schedules, asset records, and inventories of campus facilities, furniture, and equipment; (f) overseeing the operation of the mailing room; (g) providing administrative support and secretariat services to the College Committees or Task Groups; and (h) providing assistance with other College projects, activities, or administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s). Irregular working hours, including weekends, evenings or holidays, may be required occasionally.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Building, Estate Management, Surveying, Architectural Studies, Facilities Management, or a related discipline; (ii) at least 3 years’ relevant post-qualification work experience in property, facilities, or building management; (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) sound knowledge of relevant safety regulations, rules, code of practices, and contractor co-ordination, with proven experience in project or facilities operations; and (v) the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively, with strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills. Prior work experience in educational institutions, possession of relevant professional qualification(s), and/or a valid vehicle driving license will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
