Deputy Executive Director 副總幹事

The Position

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Deputy Executive Director plays a pivotal leadership role in advancing Hong Kong’s global positioning as a premier travel destination. The incumbent will support the formulation and execution of the HKTB’s overall strategy, ensuring effective delivery and alignment across the Chinese Mainland and all international markets in line with organizational priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all Chinese Mainland and Worldwide Offices to develop and implement strategic business plans.
• Enhancing Hong Kong’s market positioning and driving performance across regions.
• Ensuring optimal allocation of resources, monitoring performance outcomes and fostering constant improvements of operational effectiveness.
• Leading global market development by identifying emerging tourism trends and opportunities and translating them into actionable strategies.
• Supporting and implementing global marketing initiatives and trade engagement efforts to reinforce Hong Kong’s competitiveness.
• Ensuring consistency and quality in execution of the organization’s initiatives, promoting accountability and driving continuous improvement.
• Representing HKTB at major international business events and cultivating strong partnerships with global and regional stakeholders, including tourism organizations, trade partners, industry bodies and relevant government agencies.
  
  

The Person

The candidate must be a seasoned executive with international exposure and have:

• University degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Hotel and Tourism Management or a related discipline.
• At least 20 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 10 years in senior general management roles within multinational organizations.
• A proven track record in driving business performance, developing agile marketing strategies and leading cross-regional teams.
• Deep knowledge of the tourism industry and travel trade, with the ability to formulate and execute medium- to long-term strategies and deliver measurable results.
• Commercial acumen, strategic vision and extensive experience in strategic planning, performance and risk management, customer-centric thinking and people management.
• A culturally aware and adaptable approach, with excellent interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills.
• Articulate communication abilities, with proven experience in media and public engagement.
• Professionalism, diplomacy, and sound judgment to build trusted relationships and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.

副總幹事直接向總幹事匯報，在推動香港成為世界級旅遊目的地方面擔當關鍵領導角色。此職位負責協助制定及推行旅發局的整體策略，確保各項策略在中國內地及全球市場有效落實，並與機構整體發展方向保持一致。
 

主要職責包括:

• 領導中國內地及全球辦事處制定及推行策略性業務計劃
• 強化香港在國際市場的定位，並推動各地區的整體表現
• 確保資源的最佳配置、監察績效成果，並持續提升營運效率及成效
• 帶領全球市場拓展，洞察新興旅遊趨勢及機遇，並轉化為具體可行的策略
• 推動及落實全球市場推廣及業界合作項目，以鞏固香港的國際競爭力
• 確保策略執行的一致性與質素，強化績效管理，推動持續改進
• 代表旅發局出席重要國際活動及業界平台，並與全球及區域的主要持份者，包括旅遊機構、業界夥伴，行業組織及相關政府部門，建立穩固的合作關係
  
  

候選條件

候選人須為具國際視野的資深管理人員，並具備以下條件：

• 持市場學、工商管理、酒店及旅遊管理或相關學科的大學學位或以上學歷
• 具最少20年相關工作經驗，其中至少10年於跨國機構擔任高級管理職位
• 具備卓越往績，在推動業務表現、制定靈活市場策略及領導跨區域團隊方面表現出色
• 對旅遊業及旅遊業界具深厚認識，能制定及執行中長期策略，並達致具體及可量化成果
• 具備敏銳商業觸覺及策略視野，並在策略規劃、績效及風險管理、以客為本及團隊管理方面具豐富經驗
• 具高度文化敏感度及適應能力，並擁有卓越的人際溝通、影響力及領導能力
• 具優秀表達能力，並擁有豐富的媒體及公眾溝通經驗
• 處事專業、圓融並具判斷力，能與不同持份者建立互信關係並促進共識
