Engineer II (Protection) (Ref: TND-TS-EII-PS-CP)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Technical Services Engineer (Protection), the appointee will mainly perform the following duties:

• To assist in installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and improvement of the protection systems as well as system surveillance equipment for the Company’s generation, transmission and distribution networks

• To calculate fault levels and protection settings, investigate into system faults and defects and prepare evaluation report

• To supervise a small team of technicians and conduct contractor management

• To design, maintain and assemble protection test facilities and instruments

• To perform call-out duties and work at irregular hours occasionally
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• A minimum of 3 years’ work experience, preferably in power system engineering
  
  

Working location: Hong Kong

Candidates with less relevant experience and lower qualification may be considered for the position of Engineer III / Assistant Engineer. Fresh graduates may also be considered.
