(Senior) Project Chemist

Job Summary

• Responsible for execution of conformity assessments for the safety, quality and/or performance of products in various categories.

• Participate into the testing, analysis and coordination within the projects

• At least 5 years related working experience in the commercial or testing services environment

• Good communication skills in both Chinese and English
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Acts as technical expert within the project.

• Defines the testing basis, testing programs and plans.

• Analyses test data and interprets test results.

• Ensures that test results meet the requirements.

• Prepares test report.

• Communicates and coordinates with other internal and external labs for testing support if necessary.

• Might support sales in calculating costs and capacities.

• Might attend other external or internal events to provide technical expertise.

• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial laboratory or testing services environment
• Strong knowledge of global chemical regulations (EU, Germany, China, US, etc.)
• Familiarity with Food Contact Materials (FCM) requirements is an advantage
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and customer-facing experience
• Proactive, mature, and professional with strong MS Office skills
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
