Job Description:
Lead and oversee all aspects of the company’s waste management operations, including waste collection, transportation, recycling, and disposal
Lead and manage the fleet team, including transport supervisors, dispatchers, drivers and maintenance personnel, to support daily service operations and contract requirements
Plan, coordinate and optimise vehicle routing, deployment and scheduling for cleaning / waste collection operations to meet client service levels and minimise downtime
Manage waste management team budgets, forecasting, and resources allocation to achieve operational efficiency and cost control
Prepare and manage the fleet budget, including capital expenditure plans, and provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management
Ensure all activities comply with environmental protection and health & safety standards
Introduce innovative waste reduction, recycling, and sustainability programs to improve environmental performance
Tack key projects, analyse tender strategies and lead contract negotiation that maximize profitability and identify risks. Exploring opportunities within the industry to drive continuous business development for potential clients
Strengthen the relationship with existing clients while building new prospects. Building and maintaining prolong partnership relations with clients, offering clients integrated solutions and solving clients’ problems and complaints
Prepare quotations and contracts, project presentation, reports and etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Waste Management, or a related discipline is preferred
At least 8 years of experience in fleet / transport operations, preferably in cleaning, waste management, facilities management or related service industries, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
Strong leadership and strategic planning skills with the ability to drive operational improvements
In-depth knowledge of waste management regulations, environmental policies, and industry best practices
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
