WAREHOUSE MANAGER – electronics manufacturing - HK listed EMS company (Vietnam)

ROLE MISSION

• To lead and manage the overseas warehouse operations in Vietnam, ensuring efficient warehouse processes, accurate inventory control, timely delivery and strong team performance.

• You will play a key role in supporting the company’s manufacturing and supply chain operations by maintaining a well-organised, safe and productive warehouse environment.

ROLE SUMMARY

• This is a managerial role responsible for the daily operations of an overseas warehouse facility in Vietnam.

• You will oversee warehouse processes, inventory management, stock counts, replenishment, 5S, staff management and performance reporting.

• You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, logistics, quality and planning, to ensure materials and finished goods are managed accurately and delivered on time.

• This role is suitable for an experienced warehouse professional who has strong SAP knowledge, overseas warehouse experience and good people-management skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee and manage all daily operations of the overseas warehouse facility.

• Develop, implement and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency, accuracy and productivity.

• Manage inventory control, including stock counts, stock accuracy, replenishment and material movements.

• Ensure warehouse operations follow company procedures, safety standards and 5S requirements.

• Coordinate with production, procurement, planning, logistics, quality and other teams to support on-time delivery schedules.

• Manage incoming materials, finished goods, spare parts and other warehouse stock.

• Use SAP Warehouse Management System to monitor inventory, process transactions and prepare reports.

• Analyse warehouse data and performance metrics, and provide regular reports to Senior Management.

• Identify operational problems and recommend practical improvement plans.

• Lead, train, mentor and evaluate warehouse staff to build a strong and high-performing team.

• Ensure warehouse space, equipment and resources are properly planned and used.

• Support internal and external audits as required.

• Perform other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Tertiary education or above, preferably in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

• At least 5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably including overseas warehouse management.

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, warehouse processes and best practices.

• Proven ability to develop and implement effective warehousing strategies.

• Proficient in SAP Warehouse Management System and related operational processes.

• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

• Good leadership, communication and coordination skills.

• Proficient in English and Chinese, including Mandarin.

• Willing to be based in Vietnam.
