香港庫務職位

COMPANY OVERVIEW

• We are a multinational Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) group with a long-established presence in Greater China and Asia. We partner with leading global brands in telecommunications, automotive, medical devices and office automation.

• Our advanced and highly automated facilities in Hong Kong, Guangdong, China and Southeast Asia support both high-mix, low-volume projects and high-volume mass production. With strong in-house engineering capabilities, we provide end-to-end OEM and ODM solutions — from product design support, prototyping and NPI to volume manufacturing, supply chain management and after-sales services.

• We invest continuously in smart manufacturing, digitalisation and lean processes to improve efficiency and responsiveness.

• We offer a dynamic, growth-oriented environment for professionals who want to work close to the business, take ownership and contribute to the success of world-class customers.

ROLE MISSION

• Drive manufacturing and product-cost excellence across the Group by building and maintaining a robust, scalable costing framework that accurately reflects factory-level costs and product structures.

• Turn manufacturing data into clear, actionable cost and profitability insights for Operations, Engineering and Procurement. Support better pricing, margin control and inventory management decisions, while driving continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

ROLE SUMMARY

• Reporting to the Operations Director, you will play a key role in building and running a Group-wide product costing framework for our EMS operations.

• You will act as the central costing partner to Operations, Engineering and Procurement. You will lead product cost analysis, RFQ costing and inventory efficiency initiatives that directly support margin improvement and operational excellence across factories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, maintain and improve standard product costing for materials, labour and overheads across multiple product families.

• Analyse standard costs against actual costs, explain variances and recommend practical actions to the Operations Director and management.

• Prepare regular inventory valuation and analysis, including inventory ageing, excess and obsolete stock, and inventory turnover.

• Ensure inventory records are properly reconciled with the general ledger.

• Participate in and review physical stocktakes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and timely adjustments.

• Review and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings in the ERP system to ensure costing reflects actual manufacturing processes.

• Work closely with Engineering and Production to assess the cost impact of engineering changes, process changes and productivity projects.

• Maintain accurate and reliable costing-related master data in the ERP and related systems.

• Support RFQ processes by preparing product cost estimates, scenario analyses and cost benchmarking against actual performance.

• Contribute to annual budgets and rolling forecasts for manufacturing costs, including materials, direct labour and overhead absorption.

• Track material prices, labour rates and overhead trends; identify risks and opportunities in a timely manner.

• Partner with Operations and Procurement to identify cost-reduction and efficiency initiatives, and quantify their financial benefits.

• Analyse production efficiency, scrap rates and labour utilisation to support continuous improvement on the shop floor.

• Prepare clear cost and KPI reports to support fast, data-driven decision-making by senior management.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in costing analysis, preferably in EMS or a related manufacturing environment.

• Experience in establishing or improving product costing frameworks in scalable manufacturing companies.

• Strong exposure to full-cycle product costing, from RFQ and quotation through to post-launch actual cost benchmarking.

• Solid knowledge of inventory management, with proven achievements in improving inventory turnover and optimising stock levels.

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment, including BOM and routing management.

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis and inventory valuation.

• Advanced Excel skills and confidence in handling large data sets.

• Able to turn complex costing and operational data into clear, concise reports and presentations for senior management.
