Part-time Lecturer of GEN 2043EEF (2027 Spring Term) (E&L) (Ref: 26002BJ)

GEN 2043EEF             Creativity in Everyday English 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: 

• planning and teaching the above full-time undergraduate course;

• preparing teaching notes and assessments, marking and commenting on assignments and examination papers;

• providing consultation to students; and

• performing other duties related to the development and delivery of the course. 

The appointee will be required to carry out the duties for the period between January 2027 and May 2027.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• a recognized Master’s degree in English linguistics, language and/or literature or a related discipline.

Preference will be given to those with teaching experience at the tertiary level.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
