Job Duties:

• This role focuses on migrating existing applications to modern platforms using new technologies in databases, datawarehousing, data governance and AI-driven data workflows.

• Collaborate with internal users in analysing existing business workflows, applications then to design and implement a new system for operation efficiency enhancement.

• Review and interpret some existing legacy system using SAS, Python, R or VBA codes to understand business logic, data dependencies and processing requirements for the users.

• Migrate legacy programs while preserving business functionality and ensuring accuracy of results.

• Develop and automate data processing workflows using Python, R and AI Agent workflow systems

• Develop reports supported by ETL/ELT and data virtualisation tools to enable data integration and reporting during application migration
  

Job Requirement:

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related subjects

• At least 4 years' experience in IT industry

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience software development experience across both front- and back-end technologies.

• Solid experience in application migration, code conversion and data processing, including interpreting and maintaining existing programming codes, would be an advantage.

• Technical: Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks including with Python, R, SAS, VBA, and SQL and working with relational databases.
