About Us
Black Kite Brewery is a local microbrewery, set up in 2014 by David and Daniel Gallie, who were born and raised here in Hong Kong. Having found a love for craft beer while at university in the US, they came back to HK and worked desk jobs for a few years, before deciding to pursue the dream of opening a brewery. Black Kite is named after the familiar bird that is often seen soaring amongst HK's hills and skyscrapers. The brewery has a core range of ales designed to be well-balanced and easy to drink, and seasonal and special beers brewed with interesting ingredients, such as teas, fruits, and spices.
