Hong Kong Program Trading Company Limited (HKPTCL) is a start-up company located in Hong Kong. We focus on quantitative and machine learning research in futures and currencies market. Designation: Intern - Quantitative Trading Strategy Developer (Initial 3 months contract, part-time/full-time)
Location: Mongkok, Hong Kong
Education: A Degree in highly Analytical Field such as Engineering/ Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Masters in Finance.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
Job Requirements:
- Looking at candidates for developing and implementing trading strategies through statistical learning models.
- Developing trading strategies, from idea generation and data collection to analysis and model creation.
- The candidate should have proper understanding of python libraries and its implementation for developing the strategies.
- Knowing advanced level of C++ language will be an additional edge
- Statistical learning and AI shall be used where possible to enhance the model accuracy and prediction power.
Skills Required:
- Intermediate coding experience using Python.
- A demonstrated capacity to do first-class research & experience in tackling in- depth research projects.
- Good understanding and interpretation of statistical analysis techniques such as hypothesis testing, distributions, regression modelling etc.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy and ability to work independently while being a strong team player would be required.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts and analytics.
