Gold Star Line Ltd. incorporated in Hong Kong was a founding member of the Far East West Africa Conference (FEWAC) during all its year of existence and is considered to be the pioneer in containerization introduction into the African continent trade.
The company consists of an international network of intersecting liner services, all focused on the African Continent carrying a vast range of commodities from the Far East (China - Korea - Japan - Taiwan - Hong Kong) South East Asia (Thailand - Indonesia - Singapore - Malaysia) the Indian sub-continent (Bangladesh - India - Pakistan - Sri Lanka) and the Arabian Gulf to the African continent (East - South and West Africa).
Gold Star Line's credo - Punctual, Reliable, Professional and Personal services at all times, is supported by weekly sailing from China, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Taiwan while direct calls are rendered from the Indian sub-continent and the Arabian Gulf connecting our mainliners sailing out of Colombo on a frequency of sailing every 12 days.
