Kong Int’l Airport, is now looking for:

Technical & Safety Manager

Reporting to the General Manager. The incumbent is responsible for several key functional areas of AFSC Companies.

• Management and provision of Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Services.
• Coordination of initiatives and development activities on quality assurance.
• Identification of needs and development/ implementation of training programs to improve operational effectiveness for all operational personnel.
• Acting as an advisor on operational policies, procedures, and remedies to deficiencies.
• Keeping operation, quality control and HSE procedure manuals up-to-date, and conduct operations and HSE compliance checks.
• Development of culture on continual improvement.

Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum of ten years operations experience in the oil related industry.
• Completed university/tertiary college education, or relevant experience in lieu.
• Background training in engineering or a technical discipline.
• Relevant qualification/experience in health & safety management.
• Experience with a very broad scope of technical problems and HSE compliance issues of moderate to advanced complexity.
• Fully conversant with Jet A-1 Quality Control Procedures.
• Fully conversant with Tankfarm and Refuelling Operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Training experience is essential.
• Computer literate
• Fluent in English/Cantonese. Working knowledge in Mandarin.
