Assistant Manager (Banking Policy) – Capacity Building

Company Overview

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong.  There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following post:

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare statistical and analysis reports as required

  • Prepare professional written materials, such as speeches, feature articles, publication releases and presentation slides

  • Conduct in-depth research on local and international capacity-building requirements and practices

  • Assist in organisation of programmes and events, from large-scale conferences to specialised seminars

Requirements

  • University degree.  Advanced degree or professional qualification an added advantage

  • At least 2 years of solid experience gained in the banking / financial industry, regulatory authorities or professional writing preferred

  • Strong statistical and IT skills (e.g. SQL, Excel macros, use of different software and artificial intelligence tools)

  • Excellent English and Chinese writing skills to a professional level, with the ability to produce well-structured, articulate and compelling content for various audiences an advantage


Conditions of service

  • A competitive remuneration package will be offered.  There is flexibility to take account of additional experience and qualifications

  • Depending on the openings available, successful candidates may be appointed on fixed contract terms
