Assistant Manager - Information Technology, AI Engineering
Company Overview
The applicant must possess:
a recognized degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related disciplines
a minimum of 5-7 years post-qualification work experience in application development, with a proven track record of hands-on enterprise solution, AI application and autonomous agent development
extensive hands-on experience building applied AI solutions using foundation models (LLMs), orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering
strong programming proficiency in Python (essential for AI development), JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#; alongside front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
solid experience with traditional database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) as well as Vector Databases
demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud) and modern DevOps/MLOps practices
strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies
detail-oriented with critical thinking and user-centric mindset
strong project management, collaboration, vendor management and problem-solving skills.

ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

Duties include:
responsible for end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications, ensuring strict adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and robust security protocols
leverage Generative AI expertise to conceptualize, design, and implement innovative, AI-driven solutions that address complex business needs and boost organizational efficiency
stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and industry trends, especially in the AI space. Proactively research, recommend, and implement improvements to the technology stack, ensuring our solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive
conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to the development team
ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of all deployed applications
proactively engage with users to understand their technology needs, gather business requirements, and drive solution delivery
collaborate with users, IT functional teams and vendors for effective system delivery
assess and prioritize project tasks considering criticality, dependencies, and resources
manage project risks in compliant with the relevant CIC governance and control
coordinate and facilitate project meetings, including project steering, status updates, and project reviews, to ensure efficient and effective collaboration among team members
carry out any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director from time to time.
