Assistant Tenpin Bowling Coach

(Annual performance based remuneration package ranges from HK$332,746 to HK$803,220)

THE JOB

Reporting to the Tenpin Bowling Coach under the oversight of the Head Tenpin Bowling Coach, the Assistant Tenpin Bowling Coach will be responsible for the following duties:

• To help coordinate, design, and implement training programmes for elite youth athletes in Hong Kong;

• To fully utilize and integrate scientific, medical and other athlete support services into the elite training programme to enhance elite training outcomes;

• To assist with the administration and coordination of logistics, accounting, coaching and team resources related to local and overseas squad training and competitions;

• To assist the HKSI and The Hong Kong, China Tenpin Bowling Congress with coach education programmes; and

• To perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• A university degree or post-secondary Certificate / Diploma, or its equivalent;

• A valid coaching certificate issued by the relevant governing body;

• A minimum of 2 years' professional coaching experience, or its equivalent such as full-time athlete

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• High level of computer literacy; and

• Awareness / knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.

主要職責

在保齡球總教練的監督下，助理保齡球教練須向保齡球教練匯報工作情況，其職責詳列如下：

• 負責協助籌劃、設計及執行香港保齡球青少年運動員訓練計劃；

• 在進行青少年訓練計劃時，善用所有運動科學、醫療及其他為運動員而設的支援服務，以加強訓練成果；

• 在安排運動員於本地及海外集訓或比賽時，須協助統籌有關行政管理、後勤、會計及資源分配等工作；

• 協助體育學院及中國香港保齡球總會的教練培訓工作；及

• 履行由上司所指派的其他合適職務。

申請資格

• 大學學位或大專證書/文憑，或同等學歷；

• 持有由相關管理機構頒發的教練証書資歷；

• 具備最少兩年專業教練經驗，或同等經驗例如全職運動員

• 具備良好溝通能力及人際關係；

• 熟悉電腦操作；及

• 認識香港保護兒童及平等機會政策為佳。
