English Curriculum Development Officer / Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and write English learning materials for Hong Kong primary school students (P1–P6)
• Create exercises, assessments, comprehension passages, grammar practices, and writing tasks
• Ensure all materials align with the Hong Kong primary school curriculum
• Adapt content to suit different learning abilities and age groups
• Proofread and edit educational materials to ensure accuracy and quality
• Collaborate with other writers, editors, teachers, and designers to improve teaching resources

Job Requirements

•  Bachelor's degree or above (preferably in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related
• discipline)
•  Strong command of written English
•  Familiarity with the Hong Kong primary school curriculum
•  Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
•  Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
•  Experience in teaching, tutoring, curriculum development, or educational publishing

Preferred Qualifications

•  Experience writing educational materials for primary school students
•  IELTS 7.5 or above, or equivalent English proficiency
•  Teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, CELTA, TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent) is an advantage
