Zhen Hua Engineering Company Ltd.
Zhen Hua Engineering Co., Ltd. (ZHEC), the representative of CHEC in Hong Kong, manages CHEC’s business activities in Hong Kong. Established in Hong Kong in 1982, ZHEC has its roots in Hong Kong and contributes back to the community with its professional services. ZHEC is engaged in civil engineering, marine engineering, building and construction, site formation and environmental projects. ZHEC has also diversified into property development, trading and equipment leasing.Under the name of CHEC, the company has obtained the highest construction license (License C) in five categories, permitting it to undertake construction projects of unlimited tender value in Buildings, Port Works, Roads and Drainage, Site Formation, and Water Works.
Job Responsibilities:
Preparations and submission of claims
Monitoring and checking cost and financial income / expenditure status of the project(s) assigned monthly and preparation of project budgets in accordance with the in-house procedure
Prepare sub-contract documents and other agreements
Advise the Project Quantity Surveying Teams on essential terms and conditions of the Main Contract and identify the ambiguities and discrepancies in the contract documents
Prepare and settle final accounts of both Main Contract and Sub-contracts
Prepare tender documents for subletting and major procurement and carry out tender analysis and recommendation
Assist in preparations and submission of legal matters related to the project
Job Requirements:
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, or
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying if possess professional qualification
With at least 5 years experience in managerial position
Degree holder in Quantity Surveying related discipline or equivalent
Membership of recognized professional institutions, e.g. HKIS, RICS, CICES or equivalent
Technical knowledge in quantity surveying including measurement, valuation of variations, drafting contractual letters and documents
Sound leadership and communication skills
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Contracts Manager
