Analyst Programmer (EAMS, Kowloon Bay)

Job description:

• Develop and maintain custom Maximo solutions using JavaScript and Python to meet business requirements.

• Perform unit testing, debugging, and root-cause analysis on Maximo configurations and automation scripts.

• Partner with functional and technical teams to ensure Maximo solutions align with business needs and integrate seamlessly with third-party systems.

• Participate in code and design reviews to uphold quality standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Maximo system issues promptly, including conducting root-cause analyses.

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Maximo customizations, configurations, and interfaces.

• Support Maximo version upgrades and migrations, including testing and validation of custom components.

• Respond to assigned support calls within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent

• At least 3 years’ experience in IT industry

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, including APIs and extensions

• Experience in IBM Maximo Asset Management application development, support, or related roles would be an advantage

• Experience with integration frameworks (e.g. MIF, MEA, REST API), including configuration and troubleshooting would be an advantage

• Knowledge of Maximo application security and access control mechanisms, including user and group management and system properties would be an advantage

• Experience with Maximo industry solutions (e.g. Utilities, Transportation, Oil & Gas), including domain-specific configurations and customization and experience in the railway industry is an advantage
