Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Application Development: Develop and maintain public-facing web applications and subsystem components hosted on hybrid environments (Government Cloud and Public Cloud platforms).

• Cloud Architecture & Engineering: Evaluate, design, implement, and manage diverse cloud services across multiple providers—leveraging serverless computing, Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), object storage, virtual machines, databases, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).

• API Integration & Liaison: Collaborate and liaise with various government departments, public bodies, and private organizations to design and deploy secure, robust Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for system integration.

• Data Management: Fine-tune, maintain, and ensure the data integrity of pipelines responsible for extracting, storing, and visualizing historical datasets.

• Security & Vulnerability Management: Monitor the latest security guidelines and threat alerts, perform impact analyses, execute system patching, and implement proactive security enhancements.

• R&D and Innovation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies and modern methodologies to continuous improve system performance and architecture.

• Operational Support: Provide necessary technical and administrative support outside of normal office hours during special high-profile events, critical system incidents (fire-fighting), or urgent service deployments.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Degree / Higher Diploma in Computing or related subjects

• A minimum of 4 years of professional hands-on experience in Python programming.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in web application development utilizing HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience developing or supporting container-based architectures adhering to Kubernetes (K8s) standards.

• A minimum of 6 months of experience implementing or supporting systems utilizing PostgreSQL and CKAN (Comprehensive Knowledge Archive Network)

• Hands-on experience architecting and managing multi-cloud environments, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS), Alibaba Cloud, and Microsoft Azure is Highly Advantageous but not a must

• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
