Junior Programmer (J2EE)

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, system design, coding, and unit testing.

• Develop, enhance, and deploy web applications, software systems, and database solutions according to project specifications.

• Execute comprehensive system integration testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to identify, track, and resolve software bugs or performance bottlenecks.

• Ensure all code complies with established security, coding standards, and government IT guidelines.

• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including technical design specifications, operational guides, API documentation, and system deployment plans.

• Draft user-friendly training manuals, quick-reference guides, and release notes for non-technical stakeholders.

• Conduct structured hands-on training sessions and workshops for end-users across various FEHD departments to ensure smooth system adoption.

• Deliver second-line and third-line technical support, investigating and resolving application issues, errors, or service requests in a timely manner.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, security patches, database tuning, and system updates to ensure high availability and stability.

• Collaborate with vendor technical teams and internal IT staff to manage platform upgrades and data migrations.

• Analyze user feedback and system performance logs to recommend functional improvements or optimizations.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or related IT subjects

• Welcome fresh graduates

• At least 6 months experience in J2EE and web programming

• Good communication skills
