System Analyst (Java/ Linux, over $55K)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct requirements studies, system design, development, testing, and user acceptance for platform enhancements and integrations.

• Engage with departments and external organisations to facilitate API development for data interchange and system connectivity.

• Deliver production support, encompassing troubleshooting, system stability monitoring, rollout, and ongoing maintenance.

• Review vendors' deliverables and support in coordinating and monitoring project activities.

• Provide technical guidance and direction to the team in enhancing and maintaining the system.

• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  

Requirements:

• Higher diploma or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.

• At least 4 years of experience in the IT industry.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Java, web services, and Linux administration.

• Solid experience in system analysis and design.

• Hands-on experience in container-based technology, such as Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.

• Experience with Hyperledger Fabric for blockchain-based applications and API Management applications is an advantage.
