Job Duties:
This role focuses on migrating existing applications to modern platforms using new technologies in databases, datawarehousing, data governance and AI-driven data workflows.
Collaborate with internal users in analysing existing business workflows, applications then to design and implement a new system for operation efficiency enhancement.
Review and interpret some existing legacy system using SAS, Python, R or VBA codes to understand business logic, data dependencies and processing requirements for the users.
Migrate legacy programs while preserving business functionality and ensuring accuracy of results.
Develop and automate data processing workflows using Python, R and AI Agent workflow systems
Develop reports supported by ETL/ELT and data virtualisation tools to enable data integration and reporting during application migration
Job Requirement:
Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related subjects
At least 4 years' experience in IT industry
At least 4 years of hands-on experience software development experience across both front- and back-end technologies.
Solid experience in application migration, code conversion and data processing, including interpreting and maintaining existing programming codes, would be an advantage.
Technical: Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks including with Python, R, SAS, VBA, and SQL and working with relational databases.
