Head of QS (Myanmar)

The Job

• Client: A Private Property Group with diverse investment in Asia pacific
• Position: Head of QS 
• Project: Mixed luxury residential and commercial development in Myanmar
• Responsibilities: 
• Reporting to the CEO and Director
• Lead the QS team and oversee all cost planning, procurement, and contract administration activities.
• Develop and implement cost control strategies across the full development lifecycle—from feasibility to final account.
• Collaborate with the Development, Design, and Construction teams to ensure commercial viability and value engineering.
• Manage tendering processes, contractor negotiations, and subcontractor appointments.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Provide expert advice on contractual matters, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
• Professional qualification; RICS, HKIS
• Min. 12 years QS experience gained from property developers / consultants / hospitality group
• Ideally possess large-scale residential / hotel resort project experience
• Solid experience in contract administration and procurement
• Good leadership and people management skills
• Good command of Chinese and English
• Willing to station in Myanmar
