• Work with any other groups or classes as assigned by Head of School or the EAL Coordinator;
  • Record and report students’ progress and communicate this directly to the EAL Coordinator and the relevant homeroom/subject teacher(s);
  • Support students’ learning of English as an additional and academic language, tailoring support to match the learner’s needs;
  • Offer support by providing pull-out and/or push-in sessions (working collaboratively with the homeroom/subject teacher);
  • Assess students’ progress and support them in reviewing their own learning;
  • Promote students’ well-being and resilience;
  • Help with administrative tasks such as uploading data, creating documents to support learners and teachers;
  • Communicate with parents about their child’s progress and any work that needs to be completed;
  • Liaise/communicate directly with homeroom/subject teachers and attend planning meetings;
  • Collaborate on planning for teaching small groups and individuals;
  • Carry out other job duties assigned by the department/school.
