ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN — European-owned IoT ODM | Hands-On PCB, Testing & Product Development Role (San Po Kong/5 days work)

COMPANY OVERVIEW

• We are a European-owned product development and manufacturing company. We provide ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) services for clients around the world.

• We work as our clients’ outsourced product and engineering team. We support them through the whole product journey—from idea and design to development, manufacturing, and shipment.

• Our team has strong experience in hardware design, firmware development, PCB layout, and product testing. We develop IoT devices, smart home products, wellness technology, and consumer electronics. We also work closely with trusted manufacturing partners in Asia.

ROLE MISSION

• You will provide hands-on technical support for the development, testing, and production of IoT hardware products.

• You will work in a small team of 3 members and support the Project Manager and Senior Engineer in daily technical work.

ROLE SUMMARY

• This is a junior-level technical role in a fast-growing Hong Kong ODM company.

• You will work closely with the Project Manager, Senior Engineer, international clients, and Asian manufacturing partners to support the development and production of connected electronic products.

• This role is suitable for a hands-on Electronic Technician or fresh graduate who wants to learn practical skills in PCB rework, testing, production fixtures, and product validation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in a team of 3 members and support the Project Manager and Senior Engineer in daily technical work.

• Perform PCB soldering, board rework, modification, and troubleshooting.

• Help develop, assemble, and maintain production and test fixtures.

• Carry out functional testing, debugging, and validation of electronic products and prototypes.

• Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters.

• Support product testing from engineering samples to mass production.

• Help prepare for product certifications, such as FCC, CE, and RCM.

• Support production tooling handoff and communicate with Asian manufacturing partners.

• Record test results, problems found, and troubleshooting steps.

• Help maintain BOMs, test reports, and other product documents.

• Be hands-on, careful, willing to learn, and ready to solve problems.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Higher Diploma, Diploma, or degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related subject.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Interest in electronics, circuit boards, and hands-on technical work.

• Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuit boards is an advantage.

• Willingness to learn PCB soldering, board rework, and product testing.

• Experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, or multimeters is an advantage, but not required.

• Careful, patient, and willing to learn from senior engineers.

• Proficient in English and Chinese; Mandarin is a plus.
