Assistant Project Manager (AI-Native Project Delivery)

This is a senior, client-facing ownership role with an AI-native delivery mindset - the single owner of a project's outcome, from the client relationship through requirements, delivery, and acceptance. You co-lead a two-person project pod with a Tech Lead, directing AI agents that handle execution while you own what gets built, why, and whether it truly solves the client's problem. You hold final decision authority on project scope and priority. This is an ownership role, not a coordination role.


You will do the following in this job:

• Own the client relationship. Act as the single client-facing owner of project success — build trust, set and manage expectations on scope, timeline, and AI-era delivery velocity, and communicate trade-offs with no surprises.

• Own requirements and scope. Capture user needs, define what to build and why, and make the scope and priority calls - including go/no-go - against the agreed outcome.

• Rapid prototyping. Build prototypes with AI tools to align with clients to capture user requirements. Leverage different AI tools to accelerate this process.

• Write AI-consumable specs. Turn client needs into precise requirements and testable acceptance criteria that AI agents can act on directly - with boundaries and edge cases stated, not left to inference.

• Validate outcomes, not just outputs. Own final acceptance: verify the built solution with real users against business intent, and catch work that is technically correct but wrong for the business before the client sees it.

• Steer projects with AI-driven governance. Stand up AI agents to monitor timeline, budget, and risk continuously — then turn agent-surfaced signals into decisions and unblocks, rather than manual status-chasing.

• Co-lead a pod. Pair with a Tech Lead (who owns architecture, quality, and maintenance) — you hold the final call on scope and priority; the Tech Lead holds the final call on technical approach.

Talents we are looking for:

• 4–6+ years in project delivery, business analysis, product, or client-facing roles in the tech industry.

• Degree holder in Business / Marketing / Computer Science or related discipline — expertise matters more than credentials.

• Demonstrated AI-native working — required, not an advantage. You use AI to draft, synthesize, and direct work, and you can show it.

• Systems mindset. You instinctively automate repeated tasks, build verification into your work so AI output can be trusted, and turn one-off wins into repeatable methods others can reuse.

• Business judgment is strong enough to recognise when an output meets the spec but misses the need.

• Comfortable owning commercial conversations: scope change, budget impact, and delivery commitments.

• Excellent communication in written and spoken English and Cantonese; Putonghua is an advantage.
