Senior Finances Manager (MPF Fund) - Insurance company

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the team in performing daily NAV price computation, and other fund administration functions

• Oversee daily operations related to fund accounting, reconciliation, and valuation controls

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and regulatory reports for MPF schemes and pension funds

• Act as a key contact point with the eMPF Platform in relation to scheme administration, reporting, and operational matters

• Liaise with investment managers, custodians, auditors, and other service providers to ensure smooth scheme operations

• Liaise with regulators including MPFA, AMCM, and FSS, and support regulatory reporting, inspections, and ad‑hoc queries

• Ensure ongoing compliance with MPF legislation, MPFA guidelines, trustee policies, and internal control requirements

• Support system enhancement projects, including user testing, process streamlining, and automation initiatives

• Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, governance, and risk management within the trustee finance function

• Liaise with external auditors on audit planning, audit timetable, preparation of audit accounts, and follow up on audit issues through to finalization of fund audits

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

• Qualified Accountant (HKICPA, ACCA or CPAA)

• At least 10 years' relevant experience in a financial institution; with 5 years in managerial position

• Familiar with MPFA and other regulators' requirements on MPF funds is essential

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
