College Lecturer (Occupational Therapy) (Ref# AHRC/ft/26-01)

The College is recruiting a College Lecturer to support the Division of Health.

Major Duties

The appointee will be required to:

• teach health science and discipline-specific courses at sub-degree level; 

• coordinate and oversee clinical placements, including planning and liaison with clinical partners, allocation and monitoring of student placements, and providing supervision and support to students to ensure learning outcomes and professional standards are met; and

• take up course and programme coordination duties, student recruitment and activities (such as internships, overseas learning programmes and guest talks), course/programme development, enhancement of pedagogies, and academic quality assurance.

Requirements

Candidates should have/be:

• a relevant Master’s degree, preferably a doctorate degree, with at least 2 years teaching experience at post-secondary level;

• current registration as an Occupational Therapist;

• demonstrated experience in coordinating or supervising clinical placements or fieldwork education will be a strong advantage;

• demonstrated competency in integrating AI-assisted tools into teaching and learning is preferred; and

• immediate availability is highly preferable.

Candidates with less qualifications or experience will be considered for the post of College Assistant Lecturer/ part-time Lecturer.

Remuneration and conditions of service

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, medical benefits, and staff development sponsorship. Re-engagement is subject to mutual agreement.
