We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:
Teaching Assistant (Creative Arts) (A&SS) (Ref: 26001N4)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Planning, development, coordination and delivery of courses (including classroom and/or studio teaching) in interactive media or digital arts at the undergraduate level;
- Participating in School/University activities and administration; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean (A&SS) or his/her nominee(s).
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognized honours degree in interactive media or digital arts or in a relevant discipline with relevant teaching/professional experience;
- Teaching experience with an interdisciplinary approach will be an advantage;
- Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills;
- Passionate in student development and training;
- A record of research and publications, involvement in professional and community services & activities will be an advantage; and
- A good command of English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua).
The level of appointment depends on the candidate’s academic background, experience and competence in academic leadership, teaching, research, scholarly publications, etc.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
