We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:
Executive Assistant (Part-time) (Project code: Q1158) [A&SS] (Ref: 26001ND)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee(s) will assist the Principal Investigator in the project “Curating Community Screenings with Care”. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Facilitating communication with service user communities, NGOs, social workers, and cultural institutions;
- Documenting screenings and related activities through articles, professional photography, and videography;
- Producing videos that highlight the experiential and service learning process;
- Assisting in organizing and managing project logistics; and
- Conducting relevant research and other tasks assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognized bachelor’s degree, with at least 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience;
- An excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin;
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Good data analysis and management skills;
- Ability to work independently and as a team, and to collaborate with external parties;
- Investigative nature, good analytical skills as well as detail-minded work attitude;
- High competency in multimedia design and the use of IT applications is preferred; and
- Preferably with proficiency in all adobe suite (photoshop, illustrator, InDesign) and movie making and editing.
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
The successful candidate will be appointed on a 1-year temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
