Project Nature:

(T26) The government department is working on the following projects:

  • Departmental inventory management system;

  • Account Management Workflow System;

  • Secure File Sharing Platform;

  • Online Appraisal System.

 

Duties:

  • Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the government;

The CAP is required to carry out the following:

  • Support on system analysis, design, development, integration and testing;

  • Liaise requirement with users;

  • User Interface design and Coding;

  • Manage IT contractors;

  • Preparation of system documentation;

  • Perform other IT duties assigned by supervisor

 

Requirements:

The applicant must have:

  • a degree awarded by a university in Hong Kong or by an overseas education institution;

  • at least 4 years of post-qualification IT experience in system/application development;

  • at least 2 years of experience in similar post or in comparable capacity/duty;

 

The applicant preferably has:

  • experience in computer asset management such as management of asset management system or computer inventory matters;

  • experience in MS-SQL, Java, C#, ASP.net and PHP system development;

  • experience in developing AI features using Python;

  • experience in implementing AI solutions within HKSARG or public sector;

Technical Skills:

  • At least 2 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA);

  • At least 2 years' experience in Experience in C# programming (C#P);

  • At least 2 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);

  • At least 2 years' experience in MS ASP.NET (MSA);

  • At least 2 years' experience in PHP programming (PHP);

  • 2 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS) is an advantage;

  • 2 years' experience in Client/Server Application Development (C/S) is an advantage;

  • 2 years' experience in HTML version before HTML5 (HTM) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:

  • 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage;

  • 2 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage.

  • Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;

  • At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
