Project Nature:
Computer Operation Support services and Facilities Management in Data Centres
Job Description:
Responsible to provide operation support for various computer systems;
Responsible to monitor computer equipment, networks, and data centre facilities and assist in incident management;
Responsible to perform batch job and backup job processing and manage the media storage;
Responsible to enforce security control;
Responsible to perform site preparation and relocation support;
Responsible to procure and evaluate operational related equipment and services and manage IT assets;
Responsible to maintain and organize records and documentation;
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor;
The candidate would discharge following duties and work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays is required (no need overnight shift).
Requirement Details:
The candidate should have working experience in computer operation support at data centre;
The candidate should have relevant experience in PC LAN support and provision of support services to users;
The candidate should have hands-on experience and solid knowledge in MS Windows and MS Office;
The candidate has site preparation experience of data centre is preferred;
Possession of IT certificates such as CDCP/CDCS, ITIL and MCSE and site preparation experience of data centre is preferred;
Possession of working experience in Hong Kong Government departments is an advantage
The candidate should have good problem-solving skills, good communication skill, self-motivated and independent;
Security vetting is required.
