Role Mission

To ensure effective project planning, schedule management, and progress monitoring across all E&M and HVAC engineering projects.
You will play a critical role in developing project schedules, identifying critical paths, preparing progress reports, and coordinating work schedules with project teams to ensure timely project delivery and successful completion of major building services projects.

Role Summary

You will prepare monthly progress reports and monitor project progress at different stages, identify critical paths and develop schedules/diagrams/graphs, present and coordinate the schedule of work to project teams, and make adjustments to schedules if necessary.
You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams in our Hong Kong E&M division, utilizing Primavera v.6 planning software and your contractor experience to deliver effective project planning solutions for major infrastructure and building projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly progress reports and monitor project progress at different stages of E&M and HVAC engineering projects
Identify critical paths and develop comprehensive schedules, diagrams, and graphs using Primavera v.6
Present and coordinate the schedule of work to project teams, ensuring clear communication of timelines and milestones
Make necessary adjustments to project schedules based on progress, changes, or delays
Monitor project timelines and ensure alignment with project requirements and deadlines
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure effective project execution
Track and analyze project performance against planned schedules
Identify potential schedule risks and recommend corrective actions
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and related planning materials
Assist in project resource planning and allocation
Support project teams in meeting project milestones and completion targets for major infrastructure and building projects

Ideal Candidate

Degree or Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services (BS) Engineering, or equivalent qualification
3+ years of relevant experience in planning engineering, preferably in E&M, HVAC, construction contracting, or building services sector
Contracting company experience is essential
Proficient in Primavera v.6 planning software
Proficient of English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
Ability to work independently and collaborate with project teams
