Role Mission

• To ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for the manufacturing group by coordinating with overseas finance teams, preparing comprehensive accounts and management reports, and providing strategic financial analysis to support business decision-making across the Asia-Pacific region.

Role Summary

• You will join our 8-member accounting team 
• Prepare full set of accounts, monthly financial and management reports, and financial analysis 
• This role requires strong coordination with overseas finance teams, external professionals (auditors, bankers, lawyers), and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. 
• The position involves occasional overseas travel to our production facilities in China and Southeast Asia.

Job Description

• Prepare full set of accounts in accordance with IFRS/HKFRS
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Coordinate with overseas finance teams for consolidated financial reporting
• Prepare financial schedules, budget, forecast, and variance analysis
• Conduct financial analysis to support business planning and decision-making
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Liaise with external auditors for annual audit and review engagements
• Coordinate with bankers for financing arrangements and bank reconciliations
• Work with lawyers and external professionals on regulatory and compliance matters
• Deal with relevant authorities (IRS, companies registry, etc.)
• Assist in ad-hoc duties and special projects as required
• Support financial system improvements and process optimization
• Review and verify expense claims, invoices, and payment vouchers
• Maintain adequate accounting records and documentation

Ideal Candidates

• Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience in sizable companies
• Listed company or manufacturing company experience is an added advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel 
• Proficient in English and Mandarin 
• Willing to travel overseas to China and Southeast Asia
