ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT (24K-27K X 13) - landlord property leasing & investment (Kwai Fong)

Company Overview

• We are a property owner and landlord with a core business in the leasing and rental of properties, generating stable recurring rental income for the Group. 
• Our parent company is an investment holding company with a diversified portfolio, including property investment and leasing, property management, and land investment.

Role Mission

• You will support the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the Group’s rental business, with a strong focus on full-set accounting, rental billing, tenant-related accounting matters, and financial reporting. 
• The role also provides accounting support to the holding company, particularly in relation to its land investment activities.

Role Summary

• You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of our property-leasing business, with a strong focus on rental-related accounting and reporting. 
• In addition to handling the full set of accounts for the rental business, this role also provides accounting support to the holding company, particularly in relation to its land investment activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Report to the Accounting Manager.
• Work in an Accounting Team of 3 members.
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Handle the full set of accounts independently for the rental business.
• Perform accounting and administrative work related to rental operations, including issuing rental invoices, handling deposits, and coordinating with tenants on billing matters.
• Prepare monthly schedules, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Handle adjustments and charges related to utilities, government rates, government rent, and stamp duty for property leases.
• Provide accounting support to the holding company for investment-related matters, including land investment.

Ideal Candidate

• Accounting studies, with LCC Higher or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of solid accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience in handling full set of accounts.
• Experience in property owner / landlord, leasing and rental businesses, or property management is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting holding company accounts or investment-related accounting work is an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with Dynamics or other accounting software is preferred.
• Detail-minded, responsible, and able to work independently and meet deadlines.
