Role Mission
- You will support the Group Accounting Team in maintaining accurate financial records, managing intercompany reconciliation, assisting with month-end closing, and ensuring the smooth operation of key accounting processes.
- This role is well suited to an experienced and proactive accountant who enjoys hands-on work, takes ownership of details, and thrives in a dynamic group environment.
Role Summary
- Reporting to the Group Accounting Team, this position will be responsible for daily accounts payable operations, intercompany billing and reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and month-end support.
- The successful candidate will help ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of accounting activities across the group.
Job Description
- Support daily Accounts Payable operations, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and completely.
- Manage intercompany billing and reconciliation, including clearing outstanding backlogs.
- Assist with month-end closing by preparing supporting schedules and documentation.
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Support group accounting activities and related finance operations.
- Perform ad hoc projects or duties as assigned by the team.
Ideal Candidate
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of solid accounting experience.
- Experience in a sizeable company with multiple facility lines is highly preferred.
- Prior exposure to a Group Accounting Team or multinational environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP and experience in full set accounts will be an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and strong in leadership and problem-solving.
- A reliable team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
