Key Account Manager | Contract Logistics | Freight Forwarding & Supply Chain Solutions (Yuen Long/5 days work)

Role Mission

• This role will be responsible for managing and growing strategic customer relationships within the Contract Logistics business in Hong Kong and China.
• This role focuses on strengthening key client partnerships, identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts, and delivering tailored logistics solutions that support long-term commercial growth.

• This position plays a critical role in account development, client retention, and revenue growth through proactive relationship management and solution selling.
• The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, regional offices, and external stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery, customer satisfaction, and business expansion.

Job Description

• Manage and develop key customer accounts within the Contract Logistics business in Hong Kong and China.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients to understand their business needs and logistics requirements.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Develop account plans to grow revenue and strengthen customer loyalty.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and execution of customer solutions.
• Prepare client presentations, account reviews, proposals, and business reports.
• Coordinate pricing, service offerings, and solution design to meet customer needs.
• Monitor account performance, service issues, and customer feedback, and follow up on resolutions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with regional offices and overseas agents to support account growth and service coordination.
• Support tender, bidding, or renewal activities for strategic accounts when required.
• Maintain accurate records of customer activity, pipeline opportunities, and account performance.
• Support ad hoc commercial projects and business initiatives as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

• Higher Diploma or above in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in key account management, customer management, sales, or logistics business development.
• Experience in contract logistics, freight forwarding, transport, or supply chain solutions is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the Hong Kong and China logistics market.
• Proven ability to build and manage customer relationships effectively.
• Strong commercial sense with a track record of growing existing accounts.
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
• Willing to travel occasionally as required by business needs.
