Terms & Benefits
- We are a fast-growing Korean fashion and lifestyle brand with a strong presence in Hong Kong and across Asia. Known for its street-inspired aesthetic, trend-led apparel, and youthful lifestyle positioning, the brand brings together fashion, culture, and commercial appeal in a way that resonates strongly with modern consumers.
- In Hong Kong, the business operates several retail stores and continues to expand its regional footprint across APAC. The brand serves both retail and wholesale channels, working closely with distribution and retail partners to support broad market coverage and consistent brand presentation.
- As the business continues to grow, it is seeking a hands-on visual merchandising professional to help shape the visual identity of its stores, elevate the brand experience, and support the rollout of retail standards across APAC and, over time, the global market.
Role Mission
- Bring the brand’s fashion story to life through elevated visual merchandising concepts that feel fresh, contemporary, and commercially effective across stores.
Role Summary
- The position primarily covers APAC markets excluding China and requires frequent regional travel to oversee execution quality, support local teams, and ensure the brand is presented consistently across all retail touchpoints. Over time, the scope may broaden from APAC coverage to global market support.
- This is a senior individual contributor role based in Hong Kong, working independently without direct subordinates in the Hong Kong office. The role will be supported by local VM staff across APAC and will collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders to deliver visual merchandising direction across the region.
Job Description
- Develop visual merchandising guidelines, toolkits, and standards for windows, in-store displays, seasonal campaigns, and store concepts.
- Translate seasonal product stories, collection themes, and brand campaigns into compelling visual merchandising direction.
- Create and maintain detailed prop guidelines, including specifications, materials, dimensions, fabrication methods, and sourcing standards.
- Own the annual visual merchandising planning and budgeting process, including cost forecasting and budget control.
- Work closely with local VM staff across APAC to support implementation while ensuring alignment with global standards and allowing for market-specific requirements.
- Oversee visual merchandising for new store openings, renovations, seasonal refreshes, and special launches.
- Travel regularly across APAC and internationally to review execution quality, provide hands-on guidance, and ensure brand consistency.
- Monitor retail, fashion, and competitor trends to keep visual merchandising standards fresh, relevant, and commercially effective.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align VM direction with business priorities, store formats, and product launches.
- Provide practical VM solutions and recommendations based on store conditions, market needs, and brand requirements.
Ideal Candidate
- Degree holder in Retail Management, Interior Design, Fashion, Visual Merchandising, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of visual merchandising experience, preferably with apparel or lifestyle brands.
- Solid hands-on experience in VM design, props design, guideline development, window display, interior space planning, and store concept execution across multiple regions.
- Experience in streetwear, casual wear, or sportswear brands is highly preferred.
- Strong project management skills with experience in annual planning, budgeting, and cost control for VM programs.
- Proficiency in design software and AI tools.
- Creative with a strong sense of fashion, colour trends, styling, and brand positioning.
- Interest in K-pop, street style, and trendy apparel would be a definite advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions, markets, and cultures.
- Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Independent, mature, and comfortable working as a standalone contributor in a senior role.
- Willing and able to travel frequently across APAC and overseas as required.
Terms & Benefits
- 5-day work week.
- 13-month salary plus bonus.
