ROLE MISSION
  • To lead product development from design to production, ensuring manufacturing excellence, cost efficiency, and timely delivery while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards that define our brand's reputation in the global toy market.

ROLE SUMMARY
  • Report directly to the Technical General Manager and serve as a key bridge between design, production, and customers
  • Manage the entire product development lifecycle from concept to manufacturing
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and evaluate cost quotes to optimise production efficiency
  • Ensure all processes meet design specifications, safety requirements, and production timelines
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to resolve issues and maintain exceptional product quality

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage product development from design stage to production
  • Evaluate cost quotes per design, production method, and component value
  • Handle troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of manufacturing issues
  • Perform sample testing to ensure products meet design specifications and safety requirements
  • Control development and production processes to ensure all activities meet timelines and targets
  • Communicate and report regularly with customers, vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to resolve issues and ensure product quality
  • Collaborate with design teams to translate creative concepts into manufacturable products
  • Work closely with vendor factories to ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency

IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 4+ years' experience in engineering or product development roles in toys, from design to production
  • Strong knowledge of toy manufacturing processes, including mold design and debugging
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Chinese
  • Ability to work in Dongguan 2–3 days per week
  • Experience working with international clients and vendors
  • Understanding of toy safety standards and regulations
