QUANTITY SURVEYOR - China State-Owned Enterprise - Engineering & Construction Group - Urban Infrastructure (Quarry Bay/5 days work)

ROLE MISSION :

• You will play a key role in supporting project success through accurate cost planning, competitive tendering, and effective contract management, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved across major construction projects.

ROLE SUMMARY :

• We are seeking an experienced professional to join a dynamic project team. You will report to the QS Manager and be actively involved in tender preparation, cost estimation, and commercial evaluation, contributing to the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective project outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Prepare comprehensive tender submissions, including cost estimates, risk assessments, and pricing strategies.
• Analyze drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and competitive cost planning.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to obtain and evaluate quotations.
• Support contract administration and monitor project cost performance.
• Maintain and update cost databases, benchmarking data, and subcontractor records.
• Assist in negotiation and finalization of subcontract agreements.

IDEAL CANDIDATE 

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction estimating and tendering.
• Familiarity with NEC contracts is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese.
