SYSTEM ENGINEER (30K-35K X 13) – Europe MNC Engineering Group / Power Station Projects / Turnkey Energy Solution (Lamma Island or Tuen Mun)

Role Mission

• You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of infrastructure and network systems across client environments. 
• You will play a key role in troubleshooting incidents, supporting daily operations, and delivering responsive technical assistance in line with service level commitments.

Role Summary

• You will provide on-site and remote technical support for infrastructure, server, desktop, and network environments across multiple clients. 
• This role offers exposure to a wide range of technologies and operational settings, with a strong focus on maintaining service stability, resolving issues efficiently, and supporting critical business and site operations.

Job Description

• Design, deliver, implement, and support infrastructure systems and network solutions.
• Provide timely on-site and remote support to clients in accordance with SLA requirements and response times.
• Handle incidents and issues related to network, desktop/server hardware and software, and application systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems in production environments.
• Support maintenance and operational activities for infrastructure and network systems.
• Document issues, resolutions, and technical procedures clearly and accurately.
• Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and end users to ensure effective issue resolution.
• Support site-based operations at power plants when required.

Ideal Candidates

• Higher Diploma or above in Computing, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical support or infrastructure support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve network issues effectively.
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic and monitoring tools, including packet analyzers, spectrum analyzers, taps, and network monitoring tools.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP and networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS, and VLAN.
• Practical experience with network and security devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and vulnerability scanners.
• Familiarity with major security and networking platforms such as Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, and Juniper will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of RF performance, signal propagation, antenna theory, and modulation technology will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, safety precautions, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and use computer-aided design software will be a plus.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese.
