- The Hong Kong regional team supports regional and international business operations, while the Yuen Long plant plays an important role in production, quality control, and compliance management.
ROLE MISSION :
- To lead factory operations and drive manufacturing excellence by ensuring production efficiency, quality performance, compliance, and workplace safety.
- This role plays a key part in supporting plant upgrades, strengthening the production team, and delivering reliable output aligned with business goals.
ROLE SUMMARY :
- You will oversee day-to-day factory operations and support strategic production planning.
- Report to the Factory Director and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, strong control, and continuous improvement across the plant.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Oversee daily factory operations and monitor key performance indicators to ensure smooth production flow.
- Plan, organize, and control production activities to achieve company targets and operational goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Support and coordinate plant upgrade projects and related operational improvements.
- Maintain and monitor international certifications and licenses, and other relevant standards, ensuring successful audits and compliance readiness.
- Manage local licenses and permits, including industrial, dangerous goods, and waste disposal licenses, to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Promote workplace safety and work closely with the Safety Officer to maintain a safe working environment.
- Build, train, and lead a capable and efficient production team.
- Prepare production statistics, data analysis, and forecasts to support management planning and strategy development.
- Provide technical support and operational advice to the Refining Manager.
- Handle ad hoc assignments as required by the Country Manager and Refining Manager.
- Manage and utilize the ERP system effectively, including SAP.
IDEAL CANDIDATE :
- Degree or Higher Diploma in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to specialized metal materials is a plus.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or another ERP system is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
