Associate, Listed Product Business Support, Operations (Ref: 09821-LPBS-CP)

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Listed Product Business Support team, under our Operations Department.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily tasks on trade, settlement and clearing for Hong Kong market and China stock connect, including but not limited to SBL, IPO and placement

• Perform daily tasks for market data management such as instrument creation, market price management, static data control, etc.

• Resolve operational issues and escalate in accordance with complexity and risk level

• Handle requests and enquiries from salesperson, regulators, auditors, IRD, etc.

• Prepare and review control reports, investigate exceptions and resolve

• Ensure fulfillment of regulatory compliance in day-to-day procedures

• Prepare and update procedural documents and handbook

• Propose and implement process improvement measures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

• Co-work with peers, supervisors and business lines on product and business development initiatives

• Participate ad hoc tasks as assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business or related disciplines

• At least 3 years of relevant experience is preferred

• Knowledge of general industry practice and regulatory requirements

• Solid knowledge of market practice, market operations and regulations in listed products is a plus

• Able to work independently with thoughtful and detailed mindset

• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access

• Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
