Assistant Research Officer

The appointee will be involved in a research project in the School of Graduate Studies. The research investigates Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) Adoption in Hong Kong, from the perspective of service providers and service users.
Responsibilities
- Conduct literature review
- Arrange and conduct interviews with ART service providers and users
- Perform qualitative data analyses
- Contribute to quantitative data analysis
- Contribute towards development of manuscripts
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s)
Requirements
- At least Bachelor’s degree or above (master’s preferred) in Social Sciences, Public Health or related disciplines
- Experience in working on reproductive health issues in the Hong Kong context
- Strong skills in qualitative research analysis using tools such as NVivo
- Strong skills in quantitative research analysis using software such as SPSS, STATA, Python, etc
- Good analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills
- A good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese is required
- The ability to work independently

Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits and mandatory provident fund. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of up to 12 months. Renewal of contract will be subject to the performance and the funding availability.
