Executive, Claims (Home & Travel)

Key Responsibilities:

• Settle and handle Personal Lines claims (particularly home and travel claims) effectively and efficiently in accordance with company philosophy/strategies and policy terms

• Set and monitor reserve adequately and timely and ensure the authority levels laid down are complied with

• Comply with claims instructions, provide quality work and adhere to authority limits and procedures in the process of claims handling

• Support manager to establish service standards and implement initiatives to improve operation efficiency and performance standards

• Provide quality and professional claims service to customers

• Assist supervisors in the preparation of management reports and actively drive, run and support projects for the improvement of operation efficiency and service quality
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree holder, preferably with progress in professional insurance examinations

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in general insurance

• Solid experience in servicing and operation of Personal Lines insurance claims, particularly in home and travel claims

• Excellent customer services, negotiation and communication skills

• Customer–oriented, self-motivated, willing to take up responsibility and capable to work independently

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing
