Head of Operations Engineering – Technical and Engineering Services (Beijing) (Ref: 260000Z9)

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technical and Engineering Services team to deliver expert engineering and asset management support across the railway lifecycle, including asset introduction, maintenance, renewal and replacement

• Drive asset management strategies and frameworks to ensure compliance with ISO 55001 and optimise asset performance

• Lead investigations into major engineering incidents and implement improvement initiatives to enhance railway safety and operational performance

• Oversee the planning and delivery of major asset renewal and long-term asset replacement programmes including non-fare revenue projects

• Manage new technologies and smart maintenance solutions for railway line development and bidding activities 
   

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline

• A minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in large-scale railway or infrastructure projects, of which 6 years should be at managerial level

• Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised poffessional institution in Engineering

• Strong leadership and analytical skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

Remarks

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable terms 

• Required to be stationed in Beijing, China
