Assistant IT Officer (Artificial Intelligence) - Junior

Relevant Working Exp:
Degree holder in Computing, Computer Science, System Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Analysis or related discipline.

The candidate is expected to:

• Design, build and deploy AI / machine learning solutions to support business and operational needs.
• Develop and integrate Large Language Model (LLM) and generative-AI applications, including prompt engineering and API integration.
• Collect, clean, analyse and visualise data to generate actionable insights and reports.
• Automate workflows and internal tools; maintain and improve existing IT systems.
• IoT hardware & platform integration, IoT data collection, sensor network deployment and data interconnection.
• cross-disciplinary coordination: combine AI algorithm, ESG carbon accounting logic and IoT real-time monitoring system for smart sustainable projects
• Ensure data security, privacy and compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Preferred qualifications & skills:

• Fresh graduates are welcome; no needed for prior full-time experience required. Relevant internship, academic or personal projects are an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Python and interest in AI / ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Some exposure to SQL, data-analysis and visualisation tools, cloud platforms or version control (Git) is a plus.
• Eager to learn, self-motivated and a good team player.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).

Conditions: Appointments will be made on Agreement Term with PKNG in accordance with the prevailing Government’s terms and conditions for the employment.
